Taizhou Capital Tour

On June 16 and 17, Etech Securities Inc. capital tour team paid a visit to Taizhou city in Jiangsu province and held a promotional seminar of Private Equity Investment to the local government and companies. The team led by Vice Chairman of Etech Securities, Daniel De Tour, including Group EVP, Managing Director, Chen Yan, Managing Director Xu Fang, and Senior VP Xing Chun received a warm and hospitable welcome and thoughtful arrangements from the local government. The event attracted a high level of attention by Vice Mayor Mr. Lu PeiMin, who is in charge of the industrial development of the city. He came to give a speech and stayed for the whole seminar. The most amounts of effort and contributions for this successful capital tour were made by the people in Taizhou Municipal Economic and Trade Commission. They invited five of the most successful companies in Taizhou to attend the seminar.

The following outstanding representatives of entrepreneurs or managers from Taizhou attended the meeting: Deputy Director of Taizhou Petrochemical Plant, Zhao Zhiyuan; Vice General Manager of the Jiangsu Meilan Chemical Corporation, Yu Chengrong; Chief Financial Officer of Jiangsu Light Holdings Ltd. Li Mingxing; CFO of Jiangsu Sanjiang Electric Holdings Ltd. Shao Lei; Vice President of Jiangsu Bao Li Holdings Limited, Wu Shengzhang.

Mr. Daniel De Tour gave a keynote speech on private equity investment for Chinese companies in the seminar. The Etech team engaged fully in communication with the government officials and company managers about the benefits of bringing in foreign strategic investors to the local companies. Two quality companies were selected, Etech engaged in many thorough and in-depth discussions with them. They expressed that they would keep contact with Etech, and would further consider the implementation of the related issues. The Taizhou government welcomes and encourages Etech Securities to sign several notable deals from the key industries in the near future, such as shipbuilding, pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, home electric appliances, wine and spirits and so on.
