Mr. Wang has over 18 years of extensive experience in corporate finance, investment evaluation, business development, M&A and financial advisory. He held executive and management positions at major international companies including Bechtel, ARCO, BP, and Reliant Energy. While working in the US, he was actively involved in a range of M&A activities and financial transactions including purchase of strategic assets, structuring of convertible bonds, acquisition of publicly held companies, and developing sophisticated risk management products. Since 1997, Mr. Wang has helped global energy companies develop business opportunities and execute investment transactions in the oil and gas, electric power and utilities industry of China. He led, was instrumental or assisted in a series of multi-million dollar investment transactions involving more than $7 billion in total investment.

In 2002, Mr. Wang founded Golden Path Capital Consulting, a financial advisory firm focusing on advising small-to-medium-sized Chinese companies on raising capital from international capital markets. For more than 5 years, Mr. Wang, together with his Chinese and foreign partners, has advised numerous Chinese companies, private and state-owned, large and small, on a wide range of strategy, investment and financing issues, and successfully structured, executed and closed several private equity deals for his Chinese clients, involving more than $200 million of total capital raised.

Mr. Wang received both undergraduate and graduate degrees in finance and economics in China and holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, USA.
